Author Biography

  • Felix Tacke, Philipps-Universität Marburg

Felix Tacke is a professor of Spanish linguistics at Marburg University. His research primarily focuses on pluricentric tendencies in Romance standard language cultures, language planning, and the promotion of minority languages. He is the co-editor, alongside Franz Lebsanft, of the Manual of Standardization in the Romance Languages (2020), a key reference work on processes of formal standardization. Currently, he is developing CO.RA.PAN (Corpus Radiofónico Panhispánico), a corpus designed to systematically investigate the pluricentric nature of spoken standard Spanish across the Hispanic world. Tacke’s research interests also include historical syntax and pragmatics in Romance languages, specifically demonstrative constructions. He has been a Visiting Lecturer at University of Zaragoza and Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, and a Research Fellow at the “Cátedra de Altos Estudios del Español” of the University of Salamanca.
